Novopangea is a multi-player economy style strategy game. The game is designed around real world mechanics such as renting land, owning a business and completing jobs.  Immerse yourself in the 6 realms, where the power of choice shapes the narrative. Build your economic empire, own land, add buildings, and earn Creator Credits for valuable rewards. 

# The Six Realms
At the core of Novopangea's existence lies a symmetrical duality, embodied by its creators. Two profound thoughts intertwine seamlessly—the eternal cycle of existence and the everlasting flame of hope. Handpicked by the **six creators, six elements, six regions** themselves, the chosen ones were bestowed with a direct link to all life:

2. Shadow Realm
3. Space Realm
4. Time Realm
5. Earth Realm
6. Water Realm
Will the spark of harmony be lit, or will the balance be maintained through survival? Can Genesis prevail on this earth at this time?

# Economy Play
Economy play will set the foundation for the entire Novopangea Ecosystem as the game continues to expand with the future releases of PVP and PVE mode. 

### There are many roles to play
* **Land Owners** - Own land NFTs and rent your land to other building owners or place your own buildings!
* **Resource Building Owner** - Own resource building NFTs to produce specific resources!
* **Residential Building Owner** -  Own residential building NFTs for skilled workers to rest!
* **Subcontractors of Skilled workers** - Own skilled worker NFTs to work in resource buildings to collect resources for yourself or be paid Obsidian to work for others!
A combination of all the above
There is no right or wrong way to play. You will need to find the right fit, but let's talk next about what you need to do to get started.

> When adding your first asset to the game. This could be land, a building, or a skilled worker. The first district you add it to will be classified as your "home district" within your chosen realm. Your district is then locked for 30 days. You can move your land and building assets around in your Home District, but changing to a different one you call home won't be possible until that time limit ends. 

## Land Owners
Any player who owns a land plot within Novopangea is a landowner. The landowner can actively play by adding a building onto their land plot or passively play by renting their land to a player who owns a building.

To get your hands on land, you will need to do one of two things:
1. You can accumulate **Creator Credits** by collecting Story-Based Cards and then exchange them for a Land Claim within the Novo Game Hub.
2. You can purchase them directly through the **Secondary Markets**

### Selecting your land
As you enter Novopangea, you will be greeted with the Novopangea Map. You will go through the process of choosing a Realm and then a district within that realm. After you have selected a district, you will be able to find empty plots within your chosen realm.

## Building Owner
A building owner is a player who chooses to add a building to a landowner's plot or a building to a piece of land they own. You can also place buildings on land, you are renting from another player. In this case you must agree on a rental rate.

To get your hands on buildings, you will need to do one of two things:
You can accumulate **Creator Credits** by collecting Story-Based Cards and then exchange them for a Building Asset within the Novo Game Hub.
You can purchase them directly through the **Secondary Markets**
Every building has a production yield that is dependent on the level of the building and the level of the skilled workers, as well as running costs.

### Storage
You will need to manage the storage for each resource (Obsidian, Energy, Materials, and Food). Building Owners will need to determine what resources they want to keep and store or sell to the Novo Treasury to receive Obsidian. As production levels increase, players need to be mindful that they have enough storage.

# Story Assets
In Novopangea, the power of choice and decision-making rests in the hands of the community. In our innovative Story Mode, players have the unique opportunity to shape the outcomes of the narrative, influencing the release of new and exciting content. Guided by the Novopangea creative team, active creators can participate in pre-determined voting periods to determine crucial decisions, while also having the chance to submit their own choices for future ballots.

Additionally, we've introduced **Creator Credits**, a points-based program where players can earn valuable rewards by collecting assets released through Story Mode. These Creator Credits can be redeemed in the Novopangea shop for a variety of game resources and digital assets, ensuring that our dedicated creators are rewarded for their contributions and granting them a direct pathway to play and earn valuable content.

# $NOVO token
$NOVO is designed to serve as an in-game utility to be redeemed for a variety of game assets. For example, users can use their $NOVO to instantly finish upgrading game assets which would otherwise take time, complete daily actions quicker, stake to their district's town hall to unlock game features and more.

# Obsidian
Obsidian acts as our in-game currency. It is similar to cash or money in the real world.  Players will earn Obsidian by exchanging their mined resources for it or by renting their land or even simply by working within someone else's building. What will be your strategy for accumulating OBSD?

# Novo Game Hub
The world of Novopangea will live inside of our Novo Hub. When you visit the Hub for the first time, you will create a user account, and you will then be able to log in with your WAX or Anchor wallet.

Every story card or collectible released as a part of the Novopangea project will be assigned "Creator Credits". As you accumulate creator credits, you can redeem them for items within the Novo store.
