Alien Worlds features different kinds of NFTs. Explorers can earn or buy:

## Rarities
There are six different levels of rarity for Digital Items (NFTs) in Alien Worlds. These are: Abundant; Common; Rare; Epic; Legendary and Mythical.

## Land Ownership
There are 6 planets in the metaverse, each with its own government that decides how to allocate the daily Trilium payout. In total there are 3,000 plots distributed across the 6 planets. As a landowner, you receive a default share of 20% of the Trilium mining rewards mined from your Land, but this percentage can be changed. There are 20 different Land types on the planets, each with its own mining attributes, affecting the amount of Trilium, chance of NFT payout, and mining frequency.

## Tools
Tools enable explorers to mine for Trilium on the vast expanse of land available in the metaverse. Each explorer can use up to three different tools at once, with each tool possessing a unique set of attributes that impact the mining process in different ways. Some of the key attributes of tools include the time delay between mines, the weighted chance of receiving an NFT, the proof of work modifier, and the representation of how much of the available Trilium mining pot the tool can collect.

Additionally, the type of land on which the tool is used can have a significant impact on its effectiveness, with different parcels of land providing unique mining modifications for each tool. Furthermore, rarer and more valuable tool NFTs tend to have increased powers and enhanced mining capabilities.

## Minions
Minions are essentially an explorer's crew that they will use in battles, and possibly in future explorations. They have 5 main attributes beyond the standard Alien Worlds NFT attributes …
1. **Attack** — The attack rating details how much damage a minion can do when attacking
2. **Defence** — The defense rating is a combination of minion health and how well a minion can defend against attacks
3. **MoveCost** — How much energy is required for movement. Faster minions have lower movement costs
4. **Race** — Which Alien Race the minion is most identified with
5. **Element** — Minions can be neutral or can tap into a Metaversal energy source … Air, Gem, Metal, Fire, or Nature.

Minions can usually be equipped with weapon NFTs as well and can gain extra power from choosing weapons that work in synergy with their race or element.

# Trillium $TLM
A limited and unreplicable supply of 5billion $TLM was created by an Ancient Sentient Alien Artificial Intelligence (known to us now as Aioshi). This Trilium was given to the Federation with instructions on how to distribute it to everyone to make a functional Metaversal economy.

Trilium links up with blockchain technologies for its ledger and transfers. However, Trilium is not restricted to just one blockchain. This cross-chain mechanism aims to allow the Alien Worlds Metaverse to interact with projects on multiple chains and allow explorers the choice of where to store their Trilium.

## Earning TLM
There are three main ways how a player can earn TLM. The first way to earn Trilium is by mining on the land plots using powerful tools that will help you unearth rare treasures and resources. The second is by owning land and earning passive income as explorers mine on your plot. And finally, the game-ified staking system on the Binance Smart Chain.

## Binance Missions (Staking)
Alien Worlds offers eight unique types of Missions that come in four different rarities. Each Mission's rarity level sets the lockup period, which could last for 1, 2, 4, or 12 weeks, the amount of Trilium needed to participate, and the rarity level of the potential NFTs that players can receive upon Mission completion.
To embark on a mission in the game, players must first purchase ships using Trilium tokens. The cost of each ship varies based on the rarity of the mission, but players can buy as many ships as they need for a given mission. Trilium tokens used to buy ships for missions are locked and returned once the mission is complete, along with interest earned. Players can also earn special NFT rewards, which are stored on Binance Smart Chain. The number of participants affects mission returns, with shorter missions generally yielding lower returns.

# Mining

4. Hit the mine button

First, you must choose the planet you want to mine on. Each planet has its own reward pool, and some planets may offer bigger rewards than others. Additionally, some planets may incentivize users more than others, so choosing carefully is important.

Currently, there are six different planets to choose from, each with its own unique terrain and rewards. Once you've selected a planet, you'll need to choose your land. If you're lucky enough to have your own land, you can mine on that. However, if you don't have any land, you can mine on someone else's land, but you'll need to share the yield with them.

After you've chosen your land, it's time to select your mining tools. Each tool has a charge time, which tells you how long you need to charge it before you can start mining. Additionally, each tool has its own stats that affect the amount of Trilium share you can take away and your chances of getting NFTs. You can use up to three tools at a time, and if you use three, you'll get the one with the shortest charge time free of any extra delays.

# Syndicates
Join a player-run government and take charge of a planet by becoming a member of a Syndicate. These decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO) operate on each of the six planets, and elections for Councilors are held weekly. Stake your Trilium tokens to become a citizen of a planet and earn the right to vote for Councilors. The more TLM tokens you stake, the greater your vote power.

If you aspire to run for a Council position, stake at least 5000 TLM tokens to the planet of your choice. Once the Council members are elected, they discuss and vote on proposals.

# Getting started (free)
With the base game being completely free, all you need to start your mining journey is a WAX wallet. But why settle for just the basics when you can level up your experience with the staking and mission system on the Binance Chain?
