# Gamemodes
## Hybrid Competitive
The hybrid competitive mode is a high-paced 5 vs 5 match with both **capture the point** and **search & destroy** modes alternating between rounds. This mode is our own take on the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre, offering our players a unique experience never seen in the genre before.

### 1. Capture the point
In this mode your job is to capture the point before the other team does. The longer the round goes on for, the faster the point will be captured. The round will end if the point is captured or the other team is completely eliminated. The winning team will get put on Offense and the team that lost will get put on Defense on the next game mode.

### 2. Search and Destroy
This game mode has two "sites" that have a marked area that the bomb can be planted on. Depending on the team you get put on will determine what you have to do. The Offense team will have to try to plant the bomb on the site of their choosing. The defensive team has to protect the sites from the enemy team to make sure they do not plant the bomb. If they do plant the bomb the defensive team will have to disarm the bomb in a limited time frame.

## Team Deathmatch
The deathmatch mode is a more laidback non-tactical 8v8 team deathmatch on large scale maps. There are constant fights so you can have some fun shooting enemies as well as practice with all the weapons in the game. 
A team is still required to win but with every player starting with 30 thousand resources there's no buy limit. The game ends the moment a team has reached 100 kills, after which the server is reset.


# Skins
All digital assets within The Forge Arena are Skins 2.0, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Players can purchase Weapon Case Collections through the in-game store or earn them as end-game rewards.

## Rarity
Each Weapon Case contains a variety of digital assets, categorized by rarity:
* Common
* Uncommon
* Rare
* Epic
* Legendary


## Float Values
When a case is opened, each item is assigned a unique float value between 0 and 1 with 18 digits. The closer the value is to 0, the cleaner the digital asset will appear in-game and in the inventory preview. The closer the value is to 1, the dirtier it will appear. The float values increases or decreases its value to the eye of skin collectors and traders within the Arena.

## Weapon Wears
Each Weapon Skin in the game also has a "Wear" attribute (such as War Beaten, Weathered, Service Worn, Mint, or Authentic) that corresponds to the float value assigned to the skin. The lower the float value, the higher the "Wear" level of the skin will be.

# Esports - Ascendance Capsule
By staking your Ascendance Badge on The Forge Arena website, you can earn $SPARKS tokens. Additionally, your Ascendance Badge grants you exclusive access to sign up for the $1,000,000 Ascendance Series Tournaments, which are part of our upcoming Esports Circuit.
Having an Ascendance Badge also comes with additional advantages. Badge holders enjoy exclusive and VIP access at in-real life events. Furthermore, the Ascendance Badge provides exclusive drops access and whitelisting opportunities for future Artefakt drops and partner drops. As the Ascendance Series progresses, we plan to incorporate additional utility into the badges, aiming to maximize their value and offer badge holders exclusive opportunities to participate in both physical and digital events.

# Utility Tokens
Forge Arena took a unique approach when creating its Play and Earn/Own experience compared to many other projects in the WEB3 space. Many projects release a governance token as a way to raise funds for game development, but this can lead to a poor user experience if the ecosystem and in-game economy are not well-designed. Furthermore, a governance token can also attract the wrong audience and harm the game. Thus, Forge Arena chose to not release a governance token and instead focus on creating "Utility Tokens" to enhance the user experience and provide Utility! 

By engaging with the game, players of The Forge Arena will be able to earn various utility tokens that can be used in the game's ecosystem. Most of these tokens will be tradable on exchanges such as Alcor and will be used to power different mechanics and economies within the game ecosystem.

## $SPARKS
SPARKS, the in-game currency, can be purchased through The Forge Arena store. The exchange rate is fixed at 100 SPARKS for $1 USD. These tokens can be used to buy Weapon Cases that contain a variety of Weapon Skins with five levels of rarity and unique float values. Additionally, SPARKS can be used to activate the upcoming Arthumis Generator, which creates unique digital assets such as character skins, map props/models, and one-of-a-kind weapon skins. Furthermore these tokens are locked to your wallet and cannot be traded on secondary markets.

## $SCRAP 
Players can earn $SCRAP based on their number of kills, assists, and completion of specific in-game objectives, such as defusing bombs, planting bombs, capturing objectives, and winning games. Our system tracks players' activity and will distribute the $SCRAP tokens earned at the end of each game. These tokens are tradable on Alcor and can be used to access the Trade-up Contract tool and the upcoming Arthumis Generator.
